The only time you wear Burberry to swim, And I don't have to worry only worry is him

Growing up, this was how I used to see people rock Burberry:

The chavs of the world basically whored out the brand and made it synonymous with images like the one above, so this was all I pretty much knew about Burberry. But thanks to Christopher Bailey and Rosie Huntington Whitely, I've literally fallen in love with the brand. Bailey is a f*cking genius to be honest, he's completely switched up Burberry's image and Rosie.....ah Rosie..as a former Victoria's Secret model she's obviously beyond beautiful, but her Burberry campaign for Burberry Body gave me LIFE:

She is so sexy it's a joke, and she was the one who made me lean towards Burberry again with her dress at the 2010 Met Ball:

Oh and 2012 Met Ball:

She's literally a goddess, so so beautiful. So anyway, normally I hate setting foot in designer stores because I know from the outset the only thing I'll be able to afford is like...a keyring and I always feel like the staff already know this and so look at me awkwardly - paranoia - but I visited the Burberry flagship store on Regent St recently and f*ck me I was amazed.

This store is the sh*t. Probably one of the most technologically advanced stores out there, it has a 22ft screen which projects the Burberry shows every year and allows for music performances to take place (yes the store doubles up as an intimate concert venue) as well as microchips in the clothing which, when you look at yourself in the mirror it transforms into a film of how the garment was made and what it looked like on the catwalk. Obviously Burberry's gone digital crazy lately thanks to Bailey but it's worked for them, this store is the perfect contradiction of the traditional Burberry brand and modern technology, perfectly represented in the way that Bailey has chosen to locate his technologically advanced store within a building designed in 1820 for the Prince Regent. Oh, and did I mention you design your own trench coat while you're here too..yeah they went all out. AND as if that wasn't enough Bailey designed a 12 piece (I think?) collection exclusively for the Regent Street store. My absolute favourite was this gold feathered trench, made from 5000 feathers:

I don't care if I'd look like a fool on the street for wearing this I'd rock this. Cara is the model of the moment so naturally she fronted the campaign, but the coat is unbelievably beautiful. Definitely a work of art, not just any old coat you put on that looks "nice". Ahh I want it in my life. In fact, I see something McQueen-ish in this trench actually, maybe its the incredible extravagance and luxury....either way, masterpiece. Bailey, I bow down to you.

P.S. Title lyrics come from Bonnie & Clyde - Jay Z ft. Beyonce. I love them. Plus it samples Tupac (albeit badly) but still...
